Stones fell on the car from the hill on the Chandigarh-Manali highway

Himachal Pradesh Landslide : A 5-year-old boy died after a stone fell on his car near 6 miles on the Chandigarh-Manali National Highway in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh on Friday night. Stones are constantly falling on this highway of death and this time a family has come under its grip. The family, a resident of Sundernagar in Mandi district, was going to their home in Sundernagar from Kullu. Meanwhile, stones suddenly rained down from the hill. As soon as the information was received, the team of Thana Sadar reached the spot and started the operation.

According to information, Prashant, a resident of Sundernagar in Mandi district, works in Kullu. It was a two-day holiday, so we were going home on Friday evening. Meanwhile, on Friday late evening, there was a sudden shower of stones from the hill, which hit his Alto car. His entire family was in the car. In which his son Chinmay was killed, while his wife-daughter and himself were injured. The injured have been brought to Zonal Hospital Mandi, where they are undergoing treatment. The condition of the mother is still said to be critical. While the father-young child is still out of danger. The police have taken possession of the body of the innocent and started further action.

During the incident, other vehicles were driving in front and behind his car. Stones were also pelted on these vehicles and some people were also injured. Additional Superintendent of Police Sagar Chandra has confirmed the incident. He said that stones are falling from the hill at the 9th and 6th mile, due to which traffic has been stopped from both sides.
