Jalandhar-Delhi A major accident took place today near Guraya on the National Highway. A chemical tanker and a car collided on the highway. After the collision, a fierce fire broke out in both the vehicles. After this incident of arson on the highway, there was a long traffic jam.
Fire brigade vehicles have been dispatched from Phagwara to control the fire. The fire that broke out after the collision between the tanker and the car was so fierce that it engulfed some other vehicles as well. Due to the fire, black smoke is coming out from the chemical in the tanker.
Smoke is visible on the entire national highway in Guraya. Due to which people are also facing problems. There is no information about any loss of life in this accident so far. The highway patrol police has closed the Jalandhar-Delhi lane going to Ludhiana for the time being after the fierce fire that broke out after the collision of two vehicles in the middle of the highway.
To deal with the traffic jam on the highway, the local police are diverting the vehicles from the service lane or other roads passing through the village. Due to the fire there has been a heavy traffic jam on the highway.
