Singapore’s passport is the most powerful in the world, know the ranking of India-Pakistan

Hanely Passport Index: In the Henley Passport Index released on Tuesday, Singapore has overtaken Japan to take the first place. The index named Singapore’s passport as the most powerful. Along with this, the passport of Japan, occupying the first place for the last five consecutive years, has been described as the third most powerful passport.

The passport of Germany, Italy and Spain is the second most powerful passport in the world. Passport holders of these countries are allowed visa-free travel to 190 countries. According to the Henley Passport Index, Singaporean passport holders are allowed visa-free travel to 192 out of 227 countries. While Japanese passport holders are allowed visa-free travel to 189 countries. Japan is ranked third along with Australia, Finland, France, Luxembourg, South Korea and Sweden.

Along with this, Afghanistan and Iraq have been described as the weakest passports. Afghanistan passport holders are allowed visa-free travel to 27 countries while Iraqi passport holders are allowed visa-free travel to 29 countries.

India’s ranking has improved

Along with this, India’s passport has come to the 80th place in the list of 103 countries. However, India’s ranking has improved by five places this year. India, Togo and Senegal are ranked 80th in the latest Henley Passport Index rankings. According to the index, holders of passports from India, Togo and Senegal are allowed visa-free travel to 57 countries.

In the index, the passport of India’s neighboring country Pakistan is also said to be weaker than the passport of Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh. The passport of Pakistan is at the 100th position in the list of 103 countries. Pakistan’s passport is stronger than only passports from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. Pakistan passport holders are allowed visa-free travel to only 33 countries.

Along with this, the passports of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal have been placed at the 95th, 96th and 98th positions respectively. Sri Lankan passport holders are allowed visa-free travel to 41 countries while Nepali passport holders are allowed visa-free travel to 38 countries.

US passport ranking declines again

According to Henley Passport Index, the passport of America, the most powerful country in the world, is getting weaker. Until a decade ago, the US passport was the most powerful passport in the world. This year too, its ranking has dropped by two places. The US passport has been placed eighth in the latest ranking.

Along with this, the British passport has jumped two places. According to the index, the British passport is the fourth strongest passport in the world.
