According to information, an avalanche came in Sikkim’s famous tourist place Gangtok today i.e. on Tuesday. In this, 6 people died and 150 people are reported to be trapped in the snow. At the same time, four men, a woman and a child are among those who died. The incident took place today at around 12:20 pm on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg connecting Gangtok to Nathula Pass.
On the other hand, according to the police officials on the incident, a pass is issued to go to the place where the accident took place. These passes are issued for the 13th mile, but the tourists went towards the 15th mile without permission. This incident is said to have happened in the 15th mile itself.
