The Central government on Monday declared gangster Goldie Brar, who is said to be the mastermind behind the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala, to be a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UPA) on New Year's Day. Talking about this, Balkaur Singh said that this is a good decision, but my government is requested to make arrangements to bring Goldie Brar to India.
He said that earlier a red corner notice was issued to him and now he has been declared a terrorist but only giving a certificate will not solve the issue. He is the main accused in the Moosewala murder case, if he returns to India, something can happen in the case. Therefore, I appeal to the government to make arrangements to bring him to India.
Let it be said that the notice issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs has said that Goldie Brar is associated with the banned Khalistani organization Babbar Khalsa International. Goldie Brar has the support of cross-border terrorist agencies. He has been involved in many cases of murders.
Brar was involved in making threatening calls to nationalist leaders, demanding ransoms and posting claims of assassinations on social media platforms. A red corner notice has also been issued in this regard.
