The party leaders have to decide who will be the president of the party now? Sharad Pawar was last elected President for four years in 2022.

Sharad Pawar has been the president of NCP for 24 years.

Sharad Pawar said, After the formation of NCP in 1999, I got an opportunity to become president. It has been 24 years today. Pawar said, this journey of public life started on May 1, 1960 has continued uninterrupted for the last 63 years. During this time I have played various roles in Maharashtra and the country. Pawar said, I have three years of Rajya Sabha tenure left. Meanwhile, I will focus on issues related to Maharashtra and the country without taking any position.
