Chennai Death | Chennai: 5 priests ‘died’ on the spot due to drowning in the pond, religious rituals were going on in Dharmalingeshwar temple

New Delhi. According to the big news coming from Chennai, a big accident has happened here today i.e. on Wednesday. In fact, 5 priests died tragically due to drowning in the pond of Dharmalingeshwara temple here. At the same time, the age of none of those who died is not more than 24 years.

As per the reports on the matter, this temple is in Moovarasampet. At the same time, at 10:30 in the morning, a religious ritual was going on in the pond. Here 25 priests were in the pond. That’s why during this worship ritual, 3 priests started drowning in deep water. Later 2 priests went to save them. Everyone died on the spot.

The names of the deceased are G Surya (24), Raghavan (22), Raghavan (18), Yogeshwaran (23) and Vanesh (20). The bodies of all these have been recovered. Everyone’s dead bodies have been sent to the PM. Details on the incident are awaited.
