Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee member and senior Akali leader Nirmal Singh Hariau passed away. Last night he left the world due to a heart attack.
According to the information received, he was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali for cervical surgery, where he suddenly suffered a heart attack after the operation at around 9 am and died. Nirmal Singh Hariau was considered very close to former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal.
