The protesting farmers are demanding that the Swaminathan Commission report be implemented, the loans of farm workers should be completely waived, compensation should be given to the families of the people of Punjab who lost their lives during the farmers’ movement and they would be given a job. , the protesting farmers also demand that compensation for the crops destroyed in floods and rains should be given as soon as possible, the central government should immediately enact a law on MSP and ensure 200 days of employment every year under MGNREGA.
