Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi’s entry in Kejriwal government, know who got which department

Atishi and Bhardwaj got these portfolios

Newly appointed Delhi minister Atishi allocates education, PWD, power and tourism portfolios; Saurabh Bhardwaj Has got the Ministry of Health, Water and Industry and Urban Development.

The post was vacant after the arrest of Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain.

It is known that after the resignation of Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Minister Satyendar Jain, two positions in the cabinet had become vacant.

The Lieutenant Governor had recommended the names of Saurabh and Atishi to President Draupadi.

Saxena recommended the names of Atishi and Bhardwaj to President Murmu for appointment as ministers in the cabinet, following the recommendation of Chief Minister Kejriwal. Along with taking the oath, Atishi and Bhardwaj will join the budget session of the Delhi Assembly starting from March 17 as ministers.

Sisodia went to Tihar jail in Excise case

The CBI had arrested Sisodia on February 26 in connection with alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the (now-expired) Delhi Excise Policy for 2021-22. He is in judicial custody till March 20.

ED arrests Jain in money laundering case

At the same time, Jain was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on May 30, 2022 in a case of alleged money laundering. He is also in judicial custody. Bhardwaj has been an AAP MLA since 2013 and is currently the vice-chairman of the Delhi Jal Board. Atishi was Sisodia’s advisor in the education department.
