Supreme Court to hear pleas for probe into Hindenburg report against Adani Group tomorrow

New Delhi : Another public interest litigation has been filed in the Supreme Court in view of the steep fall in the shares of Adani Group in the stock market after a report by American shot selling firm Hindenburg Research became public. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the petitions related to Adani Group and will start hearing from tomorrow. The petition has been filed by Supreme Court advocate Vishal Tiwari. A bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice PS Narasimha and Justice JB Pardiwala will hear the matter.

According to media reports, the Supreme Court has agreed to hear on Friday a petition seeking a court-monitored probe into the ‘Hindenburg Research Report’ on Adani group companies. These petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court by advocates ML Sharma and Vishal Tiwari. Chief Justice DY Chandrachud asked advocate Vinay Tiwari what is the matter? On this, advocate Vinay Tiwari said that a similar petition is coming tomorrow as well. This is related to the Hindenburg Report, which tarnished and damaged the image of the country. Along with the other matter, this may also be heard tomorrow.
