Significantly, in the case related to money laundering, a hearing on the bail of former minister Satyendar Jain was held in the Delhi High Court on Monday. During the hearing in the High Court, the ED had opposed Jain’s bail plea. On the matter, the ED had said that, if Satyendar Jain is granted bail then the lives of the witnesses in this case may be in danger. Satyendar Jain is an influential and politically well known person and has also held a big political position.
Let us inform that earlier today, in the Delhi Excise Policy case, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has also not got relief today. Today he was produced in a Delhi court. Where the court has sent him to judicial custody till the coming 5th April.
