25 to 30 vehicles, including a bus carrying school children, collided with each other on the National Highway in Khanna on Saturday morning due to dense fog. There was a lot of fog since morning. Visibility was very low. Due to which this accident happened. After the accident, people stood in the middle of the National Highway and shouted and saved other people from being victims of the accident.

School children from Ludhiana were going on a visit to Kurukshetra. There were 40 to 50 children in the bus. Near Deheru village, the school bus first collided with an oncoming vehicle which was loaded with glass. The vehicles coming behind continued to collide with these vehicles. A total of 25 to 30 vehicles collided. The driver rammed the bus into an oncoming vehicle. Fortunately, no children were injured.

According to information, the vehicle with which the school bus collided was loaded with glass. After the collision, the entire glass was shattered. According to the owner, the price of the glass was Rs 3 to 4 lakh. After getting information about the accident, Paramjit Singh Banipal, in-charge of traffic police and Jagtar Singh, in-charge of Kot police station, reached the spot. They moved the damaged vehicles to one side and started the traffic. Also, investigation into the accident has been started.

On November 13, a major accident took place a little further from this place. Around 50 vehicles collided simultaneously in the fog. In total, around 100 vehicles collided at three places. After which CM Bhagwant Mann has also expressed grief. Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh had reached Khanna to know the condition of the injured.
