Sri Harmandir Sahib: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has started the construction of a residential block for the Singh Sahibs performing services at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib. This residential building will be built outside Sri Darbar Sahib near Chude Wala Bazar (Akali Market).
Its Karseva has been handed over to Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuriwale by the Shiromani Committee. Today, during the laying of its foundation stone, Sachkhand Sri Harimandar Sahib Chief Granthi Singh Sahib Giani Jagtar Singh, Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, Baba Kashmir Singh Karseva Bhuriwale and Other prominent personalities were present.
On this occasion, Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that this residential building being built for the residence of Singh Sahibs serving at Sachkhand Sri Harimandar Sahib will have 9 flats. He also said that with the construction of this building, the site of the former residences of the Singh Sahibs will be vacated, which will be used for the expansion of the Sikh Reference Library and the Central Sikh Museum. He also appreciated the service work of Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuriwala.
