A team of security agencies has left for Azerbaijan to bring gangster Sachin Bishnoi, the mastermind behind the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, to India. The team of Special Cell of Delhi Police will also reach Azerbaijan by tonight. The Special Cell team will reach Delhi with Sachin Bishnoi from Azerbaijan in the next two days.
A team of about 4 officers including one ACP, two inspectors of the counter intelligence unit of Delhi Police’s special cell has left for Azerbaijan. It may be mentioned that Sidhu Moosewala was murdered on 29 May 2022. Gangster Sachin Bishnoi, the nephew of Lawrence Bishnoi, who claimed responsibility for the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, was in India till 21 April 2022 before the murder.
After this he fled from India by making a passport in a fake name. The investigation revealed that his passport was issued by the regional passport office in Delhi. Sachin Bishnoi’s fake passport was created at an address in Delhi’s Sangam Vihar area. Sachin Bishnoi’s fake name Tilak Raj Tuteja was written on this fake passport.
Sachin Bishnoi had prepared the complete plan of Moosewala murder case. He had arranged accommodation, food, shelter, money, vehicles for the shooters used in the massacre and then fled to Dubai from an airport in India with the help of a fake passport. Later he moved to Azerbaijan from Dubai.
