While fighting with a customer standing in Pragya Kendra, Pragya Center Director Vijay Yadav was threatened with a weapon and looted about 70 thousand rupees kept in a mobile and counter and ran away. In order to escape, a criminal was caught by the villagers standing around along with the motorcycle. The arrested criminal was identified as Taufiq Ansari, father of Animuddin Ansari, resident of Jehlitand. On the other hand, another criminal involved in the robbery managed to escape with the mobile and the looted amount.

After the incident, expressing anger towards the police, the villagers blocked the Mcluskieganj-Chandwa road to Vikas Nagar and the Mcluskieganj Chama main road near the Shanti Fuel petrol tank. There was a scuffle between the police and the villagers. Later the jam was lifted.

Second criminal will be caught soon

The victim Vijay Yadav has filed a nominated FIR in the McCluskiganj police station regarding the robbery. McCluskiganj police station in-charge Rana Jung Bahadur Singh said that Taufiq Ansari, a criminal involved in the robbery incident, was caught on the spot with the courage and understanding of Pragya Kendra director Vijay Yadav and the cooperation of the villagers. The second criminal has been identified as Sahil Ansari, son of Sultan Ansari, a resident of Jehlitand. Its motor cycle (JH01BD 1939) has been recovered.
