The Meteorological Department has warned of dense fog in Punjab for the next four days. Especially like on Tuesday, a red alert has been issued in Punjab regarding dense fog on Wednesday as well. This alert has been issued for 11 districts Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Nawanshahr, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Moga, Bathinda, Ludhiana, Sangrur, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala. In such a situation, the department has advised the people in these districts to take special care while driving. Along with this, according to weather experts, the new year may be greeted with dense fog and rain due to the western disturbance.

AK Singh, Director of Chandigarh Center of Meteorological Department, said that the weather will remain dry in Punjab for the next four days. After this, light to moderate rain may occur at some places in the state due to western disturbance. This Western Disturbance is weak, so the impact will not be much.
