Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is on a visit to Chhattisgarh, attacked the BJP for the second day in an election rally today. Meanwhile, ahead of election rallies in Rajnandgaon and Coverdha, Rahul today reached the fields in Katia village near Nawan Raipur.

Rahul surprised everyone by going to the fields when he started harvesting paddy along with the workers.

As soon as Rahul Gandhi went to the fields, he tied his parna on his head and started harvesting paddy. He discussed paddy and other issues with the farmers. Along with the national leader, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy Chief Minister TS Singhdev, Assembly Speaker Charandas Mahant, Home Minister Tamardhawaj Sahu also supported the work of the workers.

Rahul Gandhi will address various election meetings in the state. As a guarantee, there is a possibility that something new will be announced from here.

After this, Rahul Gandhi addressed the election rally. Rahul said that five years ago, I, CM Bhupesh and several senior Congress leaders had made three-four big promises to the people of Chhattisgarh, which we have fulfilled. Rahul said that the biggest promise was to waive farmers’ loans and that too has been fulfilled.

The Congress leader said that Chhattisgarh farmers used to get paddy price of Rs 2500 per quintal but today we are giving Rs 2640 per quintal to the farmers of the state. We will take it up to Rs 3000 per quintal in the near future.
