The party also decided that on the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee will organize 'Ape Gur Chela Nagar Kirtan' from Sri Anandpur Sahib to Sri Talwandi Sabo from January 10 to 16.
Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal will lead the yatra and he will cover all 117 constituencies including spending two days in each constituency.
It was also decided that seminars will be conducted in all major towns and cities to raise the problems of the people. Depriving Punjab of its capital and river waters and other issues will also be discussed in the seminars. Party spokesperson Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, in response to a question about the murder of Jathedar Gurdev Singh Kaunke, Executive Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht, said that the Shiromani Committee is investigating the whole matter.
