Meanwhile, the bus met with an accident and Gurpal died along with the other passengers.

According to news agency Reuters, a total of 42 passengers were on board the bus. Citizens of India and African countries were also on board the bus. Officials said that most of the passengers on board the bus were foreigners and some of them were going to the US border.

According to information, the accident took place near Tepik, the capital of the state. According to local media reports, the bus had left Mexico City and was heading to the border city of Tijuana. The Nayrit state government had said that the bus driver had been taken into custody. Officials suspected that he was speeding on a bend in the road which led to the accident.
