Punjabi University, Patiala: A case has been registered against 13 students in the case of beating the professor

Punjabi University Patiala: After the death of a student in Punjabi University Prof. A case has been registered against 13 students in the case of assaulting a professor by accusing Surjit Singh of harassing him.
Urban Estate Police Station SHO Amandeep Singh Brar said that 3 out of 13 students have been identified while 10 are yet to be identified.
Meanwhile, the students have filed a complaint against the professor to the vice chancellor alleging that the professor uses objectionable and rude language with the students in the class.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Arvind said that investigation into the matter has been started. They have received complaints from students and a retired judge will look into the matter.
The father of the deceased filed a complaint with the police
The father of the deceased girl has filed a police complaint against the professor. In his complaint, the girl’s father said that the professor was mentally harassing his girl.
Teacher work was closed in the university on Friday. Faculty members have expressed concern over the incident and questioned their safety.
