Punjab VB ‘arrests’ AAP MLA Amit Rattan’s close aide for taking Rs 4 lakh bribe | Punjab

Chandigarh, February 16: Punjab Vigilance on Thursday reportedly arrested a close aide of Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Bathinda rural Amit Ratan in a graft case.

According to the information received, the arrested accused Rashman Singh has identified himself as the PA of the AAP MLA. He is accused of accepting a bribe of Rs 4 lakh from the husband of the Sarpanch of Ghuda village.

Currently, the vigilance team is interrogating MLA Amit Ratan and his PA at Bathinda circuit house. The VB has also seized the money.
