Cabinet Minister and MLA of Kharar Constituency Anmol Gagan Mann, who arrived at Municipal Council Office Kharar under the program ‘Sarkar Aaphai Dwar’, further said that tenders for development works worth Rs 46 crore will be floated in the next few days for the development of the city.
He said that the problems of Kharar were not solved in the previous governments due to which the problems of the people increased. He said that he is confident that he will solve every problem and make it a clean and beautiful city. He said that the Jacha Bacha Hospital, which was started by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann at a cost of 9 crore rupees, has improved the health facilities in the area. He said that a similar hospital will be ready soon at Kurali.
He said that the foundation stones for building a bus stand in Kharar were laid many times but it was not built, which he will now build from his government. He assured the arrival of a new sewage project soon to solve the problem of drainage water in Kharar city and said that this problem caused by the increase of colonies in the city and non-installation of STP by the colonizers will be solved soon. He assured to solve the problem of rain water soon. He said that new tubewells and three new grids have been installed to solve the problem of water and electricity. Two new schools of eminence are also being prepared so that the children can get modern education. Apart from this, the work of the reservoir is also going on today.
He listened to the problems of the city residents and directed the officials on the spot to provide time-bound solutions. He asked to establish a control room at the municipal council level to solve the problems of the people so that people can register their complaints at that control room. He said that he will take care of these complaints himself. Paying great attention to the cleanliness of the city, he gave orders to make adequate arrangements for garbage collection.
He made it clear that the Bhagwant Mann government has neither lack of money nor good will and determination for development works. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab, he is also committed as a legislator to solve every problem of Kharar. He said that development works worth crores of rupees have been done so far and no shortage of funds will be allowed in the future.
The Cabinet Minister appealed to the people to play their role in the development of the draft. He said that people should also keep an eye on the development works being conducted by the government so that all development works can be done as per the prescribed standards. He said that any kind of corruption and negligence in development work will not be tolerated.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Damanjit Singh Mann, SDM Kharar Ravinder Singh, other than officials of various departments, MC of different wards of Kharar city and other dignitaries were specially present.
