Punjab Sports Minister Rana Sodhi Announces Cash Prize Of Rs 1-1 Crore To Punjab Hockey Players

Following the victory, Punjab Sports and Youth Services Minister Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi today announced that the Punjab government would reward all hockey players in the state with a cash prize of Rs. 1-1 crore.

On India’s glorious victory, the Sports Minister tweeted, “On this historic day of Indian hockey, I am proud to announce a cash prize of Rs 1-1 crore to the players of Punjab.” We look forward to seeing you return to celebrate our hard-won Olympic medal. ”

“It was a very tricky and exciting match,” he said. Our boys did it at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 and after 41 years, the country has won an Olympic medal. India and Punjab are proud of the team’s excellent performance. Rana Sodhi said that out of the total 20 players, 11 players from Punjab are in the Indian hockey team.
