Similarly, compensation amount has been given to 2514 houses out of 3752 houses that were slightly damaged. Gimpa said that compensation amount is also being given to compensate the loss of animals. A total of 155 buffaloes and cows were killed due to floods in the state, out of which 99 cattle have been given compensation of Rs 37,500 per animal. Likewise poultry business (Business) Out of 14821 animals, 14520 animals have been compensated.

Compensation should be given to eligible persons

He said that instructions have been given to the Deputy Commissioners that the compensation amount should be given to the beneficiaries in a transparent manner and without any hindrance. He said that there are also instructions that no recommendations or favors should be given to influential persons regarding compensation and compensation should be given to the deserving person only on the basis of merit.
