Chandigarh, February 26: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Governor Banwarilal Purohit on Sunday once again clashed, this time over the approval for the Budget Session. CM Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government, according to sources, is planning to move Supreme Court regarding the approval of the Budget Session.

Earlier, the AAP government had planned to hold the Budget session on March 3, however, the Governor denied permission.
Continuing the saga of the Governor’s rift with the Aam Aadmi Party government, the Governor wrote to the Chief Minister, saying he will make a decision on summoning the Vidhan Sabha budget session only after receiving a legal opinion on the CM’s tweets and letters.
