Many important decisions taken in the Punjab Cabinet

Punjab Cabinet Meeting: An important meeting of the Punjab Cabinet was held on June 19 under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Many important big decisions were taken in the meeting. After the meeting, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann held a press conference and gave information about the decisions.

In the cabinet meeting, it was decided to fill the posts of assistant professors. It was also decided that the age limit of associate professors has been increased from 37 years to 42 years.

There will be power of attorney in blood relation

The Chief Minister said that the age which has been increased is the same year, when the previous governments were holding dharnas. Apart from this, the regulations of various departments have been passed in the cabinet. The power of attorney will be in blood relation, including grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, wife, if any, then it will be free. If given outside this, then 2 percent fee will be levied on it.

Big decision regarding Gurbani broadcast from Sri Darbar Sahib

In the meeting held by the Punjab Cabinet, a major decision has been taken regarding the broadcast of Gurbani from Sri Darbar Sahib. After the meeting, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the Punjab government is amending the Shiromani Gurdwara Act 1925. The Chief Minister said that the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee which is formed under the Sikh Gurdwara Act 1925. He said that in the Gurdwara Act, there is no mention of broadcast or telecast anywhere.

He said that this committee is being controlled by a family, that family has opened a channel, then they have bought the rights to broadcast Gurbani for 11 years. After this, to listen to Gurbani, it is necessary to install that channel. The Chief Minister said that consultations have been held with big lawyers regarding this. He said that when the Gurdwara Management Committee was being formed in Haryana, at that time the Supreme Court said that it is a state act. He said that we are not making any amendment in this act.

Bhagwant Mann said that in this we are not giving rights to any private channel. He said that we are neither amending the act nor changing the act. The Chief Minister said that according to this act, no advertisement will be run on any channel half an hour before and half an hour after the broadcast of Gurbani. Apart from this, no line of any kind will be played during the broadcast of Gurbani.
