Giving more information in this regard, Minister of Labour, Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Investment Promotion and Hospitality, Anmol Gagan Mann said that with the aim of providing more benefits to the construction workers by the Punjab Government, the rules of the welfare schemes of the Punjab Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board And the conditions will be eased. He said that now the construction workers will be able to take advantage of the welfare schemes of the board just by getting their registration done.
He said that a mobile app ‘Punjab Kirti Sahaji’ is available by the state government to facilitate the construction workers. He said that on this mobile app, the construction worker can register himself from his mobile to take advantage of the welfare schemes of the government, with which he does not even need to go to the convenience center at the expense of his daily wages.
The minister appealed to the construction workers of the state to register themselves as much as possible to avail the benefits of the government schemes. He said that the state government is continuously striving for the welfare of the construction workers.
