Punjab government will honor teachers on Teachers’ Day

This time, on the occasion of Teacher’s Day, the school education department is organizing a state-level teacher state award function under the leadership of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains at Moga, in which Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will attend as the chief guest. In this event, 5 teachers related to Ludhiana district will be honored with state level awards.

Among these teachers are Science Master Dharminder Singh of Government Senior Secondary School Ekolaha, Head Teacher of Government Primary School Bhumadi Jagrup Singh, Center Head Teacher of Government Primary School Shahbazpura Rajminder Pal Singh, Government Senior Secondary School P. A. U. Physics Lecturer Dinesh Chandra, Government Primary School Khanna no. Class 8 Inclusive Education Assistant (IE) teacher Rachpal Kaur will be honored in this event.

Rajminder Pal Singh, Center Head Teacher of Government Primary School Shahbajpura (Raikot), who started education in 2011 from Burj Hari School in Raikot, said that this is not the first award for him, before that he had received the award in 2017. Has received National Swachh Vidyalaya Award and Swachh Vidyalaya Award from 2018 to 2022. Not only in teaching, but also in writing books and songs, he has proved his ability.

To make studies interesting, he has written 3 books for children, Muskan, Panjiri, Ishriya Di Parvaaz, which are also certified by the government school library. So far he has written and sung 19 educational songs. School children have won the first place in the choreography competition organized to write and sing the song ‘Vidya Bani Sahara’ in Odisha. Rajminder Singh wrote a song to increase enrollment in government schools, which was widely discussed in the education sector.
