The ongoing controversy over the parking policy in Chandigarh is not stopping. Now Banwarilal Purohit has objected to the parking policy. He said during the meeting of the Administrator Advisory Council that in this way double attitude should be avoided in the parking policy.

Banwarilal Purohit said that parking rates can be kept according to the needs of the city. But parking rates may not be different for vehicles coming from different places. After this, this policy will be revised in the next meeting of the Municipal Council. This policy was passed in the municipal corporation meeting on July 25.

Two wheelers were made free in this policy. While for four-wheelers, the first 15 minutes are free and after that the charges are fixed at Rs 15 for 15 minutes to 4 hours, Rs 20 for 8 hours and Rs 10 per hour thereafter.
