Aman Arora while addressing the prominent personalities of the industrial world said that the main objective of this discussion was to get information about the current needs of employment in the industries and other issues so as to provide skilled manpower in the industries as well as for the youth of Punjab. Adequate employment opportunities can be created.

Taking suggestions from the industrialists during the open house session on this occasion, the Employment Generation Minister of Punjab said that their valuable suggestions will help the department to start necessary courses as per the demands of the industries. He said that he is always available to solve any problem in this regard.

Director of Employment Generation and Skill Development and Training Department Deepti Uppal said that the main focus of the Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM) will be to enlist industries for skill courses. He launched the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme, PSDM. Also informed about the industries listed, training programs being conducted as per the demand of jobs in the industries and other programs of the department.
