Punjab Government invites applications for Combined Coaching Course of Administrative Services/PCS (Pre)-2024 Exam: Dr. Baljit Kaur

Free Courses for Graduates from Scheduled Castes, Backward Castes and Minorities

The Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is continuously striving for the development of Scheduled Castes, Backward Castes and Minorities. Applications are invited till 23rd October 2023 for Free Combined Coaching Course for Civil Services/PCS (Preliminary)-2024 Examination for Graduate Candidates resident of Punjab State belonging to Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Castes and Minorities under the same series. .

Giving more information in this regard, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur informed that Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Courses, Phase 3B-II, S. for eligible graduate candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Castes and Minorities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians and Jains) resident of Punjab State. .Free Combined Coaching Courses for Civil Services/PCS (Preliminary)-2024 Exam to be started at AS Nagar. The family income of the candidate seeking admission to this course from all sources should not exceed Rs.3.00 lakh per annum.

Dr. Baljit Kaur said that out of 40 seats in the course, 50 per cent seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes, 30 per cent for Other Backward Classes and 20 per cent for candidates belonging to minority communities, while 30 per cent of the available candidates in each category are women and 5 per cent. Disabled candidates will be included. Selected candidates will be given free coaching, free hostel accommodation and financial assistance as per Govt.

The Cabinet Minister said that the candidate selection, Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Courses, Phase 3-B-2, S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali on 27 October 2023 from 10.30 AM to 11.30 AM will be conducted on the basis of objective type test of Mental Ability, General Awareness (History, Geography, Indian Politics, Indian Economy, Daily Science, Current Affairs etc.) . The duration of the test will be one hour. The candidate must carry one passport size photograph and one photo ID. Proofs like Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, Driving License etc., a blue ball pen and preferably a pad for writing papers will be mandatory at the time of the test.

Interested candidates should submit their application along with self-attested copies of certificates to the Principal, Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Courses, Phase 3B-2, S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali office till 23 October 2023.
