MHA seeking report on Amritpal Singh: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India has sought a report from the Punjab government on the arrest of Mission Amritpal Singh on Sunday. Which has been handed over by the Punjab government to MHA. Not only this, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has submitted its preliminary investigation report in this regard to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Let it be said that the Ministry of Home Affairs had asked the Punjab government to send a report on the action taken by the Punjab Police on the absconding of Amritpal Singh till his arrest. In this report, the Home Ministry sought full details of those who sheltered Amritpal Singh after he escaped. The Home Ministry has also sought Amritpal’s location movement report. After which the Punjab government has handed over the entire record to the MHA on Tuesday.
NIA also submitted the report
Along with this, NIA has submitted its report in this matter to MHA. The NIA in its initial report mentioned funding to Amritpal Singh and his ISI links. Apart from this, information about the interrogation after the arrest has also been shared with the MHA.
