PSEB has announced to take the additional exam of Punjabi in January

To join a government job in Punjab, studying Punjabi subject till 10th is necessary. In such a situation, after every four months, the Punjab School Education Board conducts an additional Punjabi exam. In this regard, PSEB has decided to conduct an additional Punjabi exam in the month of January. The exam will be conducted on January 30 and 31. Applicants will be able to get the form from the PSEB website from January 1.

According to the PSEB officials, the applicants appearing for the examination will have to fill their forms completely and submit them at the PSEB head office in Mohali. The forms will be submitted at PSEB's Single Window. Forms can be submitted till January 18. Roll numbers will be released to applicants by PSEB on January 25. The roll numbers will be released online on the board's website.

Applicants appearing in the examination have to bring their original 10th certificate, two identity cards and their attested photo state copies with them while filling the form at the PSEB head office. Attested copies will be deposited in the Board Head Office. The roll number of the applicant not doing so will not be issued.

The Punjab State Language Act is applicable. Also, to get any kind of government job in the state, it has been made compulsory to study Punjabi subject till 10th standard.
