Proposal sent to Haryana Govt

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim, who is serving a life sentence in the case of sexual abuse and murder of sadhvis, now wants to perform cow service. For this, Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa has also sent a proposal to the Haryana government, in which the ashram has offered to support the State Cow Seva Commission in making the state free from stray cattle.

Ram Rahim is currently serving life sentence in jail. He was paroled from prison a month earlier to celebrate his birthday.

This proposal of Ram Rahim was disclosed in the meeting of Chief Minister Manohar Lal. In Chandigarh, the Chief Minister was meeting with officials of the Cow Seva Commission and Animal Husbandry Department to rid Haryana of stray cattle.

In this meeting, the Chief Minister was informed that Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa has offered to support the State Cow Seva Commission in making Haryana free from stray cattle, although no decision has been taken by the government yet.

What was decided in the meeting?
Chief Minister Manohar Lal said in the meeting that an agreement should be made with the social and religious organizations willing to run the cow shed on the panchayat land. Apart from this, cowsheds will be given special grant for keeping additional cows. The Chief Minister said that the animal husbandry department should ensure tagging of 100 percent of the animals of the state as per the rules so that the animals of other states can be identified.

The campaign will be conducted in six districts
In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that a letter will also be written to the Central Government so that instructions are given to all the states to carry out animal tagging in their respective states. In the first phase, a campaign will be launched to make Gurugram, Hisar, Sirsa, Bhiwani, Karnal and Panipat districts free from stray cattle. After that the campaign will be conducted in other districts of the state as well.

After serving his sentence in Ram Rahim Jail for the first time in six years, he was paroled a month early to celebrate his 56th birthday. On getting parole, Ram Rahim cut a cake at Barnava Ashram in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Meanwhile, he also saluted the tricolor flag of the country. He also uploaded its video on his social media account.
