The police have arrested 2 youths with drugs in Khuiyan Sarwar police station of Abohar, Punjab. The police have also recovered 1000 drug pills from the accused. According to information, the smugglers were coming on foot from Rajasthan. The police have registered a case under the NDPS Act against both the accused and started investigation into the matter.

It should be said that on the directions of SSP Avneet Kaur Sidhu of Fazilka, the police team under the leadership of Baljit Singh, in-charge of police station Khuiyan Sarwar, has launched a campaign against drug traffickers. In the same link, Assistant Police Station Manjit Singh was patrolling near Gumjal the other day. Meanwhile, two youths coming on foot from Sriganganagar were stopped for search. The police checked the pittu bag with them. About 1000 tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride 100 MG and Kovidol 100 SR were recovered from the bag.

During interrogation, the accused have been identified as Manpreet Singh son of Karj Singh resident of village Kot Sadar Khan, police station Dharamkot Moga and Paramjit Singh son of Dalip resident of Mehtpur Jalandhar. The police arrested them and registered a case under section 22, 61, 85 of the NDPS. Along with this, the accused are being interrogated regarding the matter to whom they were going to supply these drugs.
