Jharkhand News: On the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, a delegation of Jharkhand Police and Labor Department officials reached Tamil Nadu to inquire about the situation of migrant workers in Tamil Nadu. The delegation took stock of the situation by visiting Tamil Nadu government officials and talking to migrant workers. The delegation was told by the officials there that the video of the alleged incident of an old case went viral through social media. Officials said the safety of migrant workers is paramount for the Tamil Nadu government. The delegation was also informed that as a precaution, the Tamil Nadu government has also instructed to deploy additional force of RPF in northbound trains.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has also instructed the Labor Department and the Jharkhand Police to provide all possible help to the migrant workers by establishing constant contact with the concerned officials of the Tamil Nadu government and to return the migrant workers to the state if needed.
