In Punjab, the police is currently in action mode. A spot checking campaign has been conducted by the police. Under this operation, the CIA staff police have succeeded in arresting a young man with an illegal pistol while patrolling at Abohar last evening. The police of police station number 2 have registered a case against the youth and started investigation.
According to information, last evening Head Constable Sikanderpal Singh along with his colleagues was patrolling on Kandhawala-Kekarkhera road. Meanwhile, a young man coming from the front was stopped on the basis of suspicion. When the police searched him, a country pistol was recovered from him. It is being told that the said youth could have carried out a major incident with this pistol.
The youth caught by the police during interrogation was identified as Angrez Singh alias Moosewala son of Satnam Singh resident of Bahikkhas, Thana Sadar Fazilka. The police arrested Angrez Singh and registered a case against him under section 25 of the Arms Act.
