Patiala police arrested 2 drug smugglers

The police of Rajpura city police station in Patiala have arrested a man and a woman who brought opium from UP. The SSP said that the arrested person identified himself as village Siptar resident of Bahripur Awala Police Station Bhamora and the woman identified herself as Munni resident of Video Colony near Masjid Police Station Bithari District Bareilly UP. On searching his bag, one and a half kilo of opium was recovered.

The SSP said that ASI Gurvinder Singh and the police party under the supervision of Inspector Princepreet Singh, in-charge of Rajpura City Police Station, had blockaded the T Point of village Kharajpur. Meanwhile, the man and the woman who were coming on foot changed their way after seeing the police.
