A delegation of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. The delegation was represented by Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami. During this, there was a discussion about the Gurdwaras.
There was also a discussion about the Shiromani Committee Board. According to the information released by the Central Government, the delegation of the Shiromani Committee discussed various issues related to the functioning of Gurdwaras. Many other matters, including the inclusion of Gurdwaras under the management of the Shiromani Committee Board, were also raised with the Home Minister.
The delegation made Home Minister Amit Shah keep his word and realize that this will streamline the management of Gurdwaras. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has assured support and cooperation to Advocate Dhami and other leaders in these matters.
