The ashes of Parkash Singh Badal have been floated today from the Asthaghat Ghat built on the Sutlej River near the historical Gurdwara Patalpuri Sahib of Sri Kiratpur Sahib.
His son from Badal village. Sukhbir Badal and his family members took his ashes to Sri Kiratpur Sahib in the form of a caravan and left in the morning. After praying at Gurdwara Sri Patalpuri Sahib, the ashes of Sardar Parkash Singh Badal were immersed in water.
Akali Dal leadership along with Sukhbir Singh, Bibi Harsimrat Kaur Badal and other family members were also present in this sad atmosphere. At Gurudwara Patalpuri Sahib Arrangements were made by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and the administration to flush the remains of S.Prakash Singh Badal.
It may be mentioned that former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal passed away on 25 April 2023 at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. After his demise, big political leaders and many personalities from across the country are arriving at Badal village to share their grief with the Badal family. Therefore, the family had shared information yesterday that the ashes of late Parkash Singh Badal will be cremated on May 3, due to which the Badal family will not be present at Badal village.
On the other hand, all the preparations for the funeral prayers to be held on May 4 have been completed. Pandals are being set up in Mata Jaswant Kaur Memorial School of village Badal to pay homage to former Chief Minister Sardar Parkash Singh Badal.
The officials are inspecting the place so that whatever. Also I. Pease. should not face any kind of problem. Meanwhile, the route plan of the program was also released in view of the difficulties of the common people. The local administration has taken full care that the people coming to or passing through Badal village do not face any kind of problem.
