Eminence School will not open in Ludhiana Baddowal even today

After the roof of Government Eminence School in Baddowal village of Ludhiana collapsed 5 days ago, the school will remain closed today. In this accident, 3 teachers were injured, while 1 teacher died on the spot. The dead teacher’s name was Ravinder Kaur. Even after 5 days of the accident, the school is completely closed. It was expected that the school might be opened today but according to the orders of DC Surbhi Malik the school will remain closed today.

Accused contractor absconding for 5 days
Accused BJP leader contractor Anmol Katyal is absconding for 5 days. Police teams are looking for him. The police of police station Dakha Mullapur are looking for the location of the mobile phone of the accused. The police raided the contractor’s house the previous day too, but he was not present in the house.

Students will shift to a safe place
DC Malik said that soon the students will be shifted to a safe place from the DEO office and their studies will resume. On the other hand, wherever the renovation work is going on in the schools in the district, the entry of students and staff is completely closed. Also, if any construction work is to be done in a school, it will be done after the holidays.

9 schools have been selected in the district under. The schools which have been converted into Schools of Eminence are undergoing renovation. These mainly include Jagraon Boys, Model Town, Mundia Kalan, Khanna etc. schools. Schools have been closed due to renovation in these schools.

Investigation delayed due to records being buried in debris
One of the reasons for the delay in the investigation after the accident is that some of the school’s records were kept in the closets. The almirah was kept in the staff room, which is buried under all the debris. Records can be collected from the shelves by the inquiry committee only after the debris is completely removed.
