If you also have a pink note of 2000 rupees, then you should quickly deposit that note in your bank account or go to any bank and deposit 2000 rupees notes and take notes of 100, 200, 500 rupees. Because RBI has decided to withdraw the pink note of Rs.2000. The circulation of Rs 2000 notes is decreasing in the country, along with this, the use of pink Rs 2000 notes has started to be used to keep black money. Now the RBI has announced the demonetisation of these pink notes, which makes it clear that once again black money is expected to come out in a big way.

If you want to exchange the pink Rs 2000 note, you can deposit the Rs 2000 note in your bank account. Or you can go to any bank and exchange 2000 rupees note. According to RBI, from May 23, 2023, you can deposit or exchange Rs 2000 notes in a bank account. But RBI has also imposed a limit on this that customers can deposit or exchange 2000 pink notes in the bank only to the extent of 20 thousand rupees in a day. But you can do this only till 30 September.

RBI says that from 23 May 2023 to 30 September 2023 only 20000 thousand rupees can be deposited or exchanged in a day. Meanwhile, all the people have to finish all their work. Means in 127 days every customer will be able to deposit or exchange only 2540000 rupees.

There will be long lines in the banks again
Anyone who has a pink note of 2000 will have to go to the bank and exchange it. During the 2016 demonetisation, when the 500 and 1000 notes were discontinued, long queues were formed to exchange them. Due to this, people had to face a lot of trouble. This time the situation will not be the same but common people may face some difficulties. Because this time too there is a possibility of long queues in the banks.

Let us tell you that if you deposit a pink note of Rs 2000 in the bank account, then there is no restriction and limit on it. On the other hand, if a customer does not have a bank account, he can only exchange pink notes of Rs 2000 up to a limit of Rs 20,000. That means only 10 notes of Rs 2000 can be exchanged in a day.

KYC is required with bank account
If you have more than 25 lakh 40 thousand rupees notes of 2000 rupees. So what would you do in such a situation. If you have more money than this limit, then it is necessary to have a bank account, along with a complete KYC with the bank account. Only after this you can deposit as much money as you want in the bank. But if more money is received then the customers have to tell the source of income also. On the other hand, those who do not have a bank account will not be able to exchange notes of more than 26 lakh rupees.

Black money will come out again
According to the RBI, from May 23, 2023, the process of withdrawing the pink Rs 2000 notes in circulation across the country will begin in all banks. People across the country must have often noticed that the number of ATM withdrawals gradually decreased after the Rs 2000 notes were discontinued. As of now, ATMs have stopped issuing 2000 rupees notes. That is why RBI has decided to withdraw the notes. With this decision of RBI, black money is expected to come out once again.
