Omprakash’s one kidney was damaged by 80 percent and the other by 90 percent. After much thought and research, his family decided to get him a kidney transplant at a hospital in Nadiad, Gujarat. But now Omprakash needed a kidney donor. When doctors told his family that he needed a donor for the transplant, Omprakash’s elder sister Sheelabai Pal, who lives in Tikrapara, Raipur, immediately agreed to donate her kidney.
He underwent all the necessary tests and found that he was perfectly fit for it. Finally, Omprakash will undergo a kidney transplant next month on September 3. Omprakash and his sister are currently in Gujarat and are preparing for the surgery. Sheelabai says she is doing this for her brother because she loves him and wants him to live a long and healthy life.
Sheilabai has given her brother a new lease of life by deciding to undergo a kidney transplant. Sheilabai has tied a rakhi on Om Prakash’s wrist as a promise of his safety and long life ahead of his kidney transplant in the coming days.
