NRI convention will be held at Pathankot today, CM will attend

A special program is being organized by the Punjab government today at Chamrod Pattan (mini Goa) of Dharkala tehsil with the expatriate Punjabi Indians. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will also attend it. The NRI meeting will begin at 10 am at Mini Goa and the Punjab Chief Minister will meet NRIs from various cities including Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, Amritsar.

About 1000 NRIs are coming from four districts in this program. The main objective of the program is to address the problems and grievances faced by migrant Punjabis. Tourists not only from Punjab but also from other states come to Mini Goa to enjoy paragliding and zip line drives, boating and bike riding in Ranjit Sagar Lake.
