Electricity companies in Bihar are working on plans to remove the problem of breakdown in cities as well as in rural areas. For this, grid sub-stations built in four districts of North Bihar, Vaishali, Supaul, Raxaul and Kishanganj are being connected to nearby power sub-stations by 33 KV line. About 25.46 crore rupees will be spent on this. With their joining, the power connectivity of rural sub-stations will be restored through many mediums and in case of fault in one sub-station, power supply can be maintained through other means.

Along with this, in view of the increasing demand for electricity in Pali village and surrounding areas located in Kauakol block of Nawada district, approval has been given for the construction of a power sub-station consisting of two transformers of 10 MVA at a cost of Rs 14.38 crore. Seven crore rupees have been made available for this.

Narkatiaganj and Chhaudaran sub station will be connected to Ramgarhwa grid

According to the information received from the company, a 33 KV line will be laid from the newly constructed grid sub-station Bela Ramgarhwa to the electric power sub-station Narkatiaganj in East Champaran’s Raxaul Electricity Supply Division at a cost of 4.23 crores, while till Chhaudanao sub-station at a cost of 6.05 crores.

Similarly, 33 KV line will be laid from the newly constructed grid sub-station Nagwan (Gorol) to Pateri Belsar and Jarang in Vaishali’s Mahua power supply division at a cost of Rs 3.14 crore and up to Gorol sub-station at a cost of Rs 2.90 crore. Apart from this, 3.82 crore from Chandpipar sub-station to Lalganj sub-station in Supaul’s Raghopur power supply division and 33 KV line at a cost of 5.32 crore from Thakurganj sub-station to Pauakhali and newly constructed Palasi sub-station to Tedhagachhi sub-station in Bahadurganj power supply division of Kishanganj. Laying work has started.

Two new divisional control rooms in Raghopur and Mirpur

Two new divisional control rooms will be set up at Raghopur in Supaul and Mirpur in Gopalganj. Rs 8.31 crore has been sanctioned for this. In this, 4.17 crore will be spent on construction of Raghopur while 4.14 crore will be spent on construction of Mirganj control room. After the completion of the work of this scheme, infrastructure will be built, which will facilitate the employees and officials as well as electricity consumers.
