After the meeting started, CM Mann first raised the issue of Punjab Vijj flood. He said that Punjab was drowning with the flood and the states demanding water turned their backs. It should be solved so that such situations do not happen again. Apart from this, there was a discussion about flood compensation and there was a demand to change the relief rules.

The issue of Haryana’s interference on Punjab University was also raised. CM Mann said that since 50 years, Haryana has not asked the colleges about affiliation from Punjab University. But why is this happening now, they want the affiliation of Punjab University.

CM Mann has once again raised the issue of Chandigarh in front of Home Minister Amit Shah. The Chief Minister said that Chandigarh was built on the land of Punjab and Haryana has no right over it. Meanwhile, CM Mann rejected the demand of forming a separate assembly for Haryana in Chandigarh. He talked about SYL and Shannon water project and clearly refused to give water to Haryana.

Strict demand on travel agents

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann demanded strict action on travel agents as well. For a long time, Punjab and many Indians have been trapped abroad by the hands of agents. On the other hand, CM Bhagwant Mann has also made a demand regarding the paramilitary force in Punjab.
