Punjab Cabinet Minister: Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa was addressing the event organized during the annual meeting of ‘Hoshiarpur Large and Medium Industry Association’. Meanwhile, he said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in the state is leaving no stone unturned to promote industries and their development. All possible efforts are being made by the government to promote the industries in the state, under which the clearance given to the industries has been made quite easy.

The cabinet minister said that the Punjab government is running a single window system through the Business First portal. Through this portal, industrial units and other organizations can obtain various regulatory clearances and services online. He said that about 117 types of services are being provided by the government through this portal, including regular clearance such as change of land use, pollution, fire, boiler registration etc. and different types of services such as society registration, shop establishment. , Industrial Plant Allotment, Boiler Renewal, Pollution Certificate Renewal, Excise and Taxation related services etc. are being provided on a single portal.
State Economic Policy and Planning Board and Sonalika Industries Vice Chairman (Cabinet Minister Rank) Amrit Sagar Mittal said that Sonalika will expand its industry in Hoshiarpur itself at a cost of Rs 1500 crore. He said that while appreciating the efforts of the Punjab government regarding industrial development, he said that in the near future those who set up new industries will get a lot of benefit.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Komal Mittal praised the industrial units of the district and said that industries have played the best role in providing employment to the youth of the district. He assured that the district administration will provide all necessary support to the industries on the instructions of the Punjab government.
On this occasion GM District Industries Center Arun Kumar, GNA Group MD Gurdeep Singh Seehra, Vardhaman Yarn & Thread Group MD Sanjeev Narula, Sonalika Group Director Akshay Sangwan, Wasal Educational Group Chairman Sanjeev Vasal, DAV College Management Committee President Dr. Anup Kumar, Sonalika Group Vice President Atul Sharma, JS Chauhan and other dignitaries were also present.
