Due to the rise in the water level of Bhakra Dam where the danger level has remained less than two feet. And the water coming from the river Sutlej started to flow out of the river. When the water of the river started reaching the road, the people of the villages started to feel fear.

Along with this, after the water came on the roads, now the water started circulating in the cisterns, and after that, four to five feet of water has started forming in the cisterns of the villages and in people’s houses without the help of the administration. Since then villagers have started evacuating people from villages and houses with tube trucks which is a huge relief operation.

On the other hand, the villages near Nangal, Bhalan, Bhanam, Jindwadi, Dhyan Bela, Bhaldi, Allagra Sahpur Bela, Nangra, Golhani Tau and dozens of other villages that live near the Sutlej river are under threat.

After vacating the villages of these people, they have been forced to live outside the villages, taking the necessary household goods and dairy cattle for their families.

Villagers who are elderly and children are being taken out of the village by putting them on the tubes of trucks and buses.
