Bureau report : The courage of the thugs has become so high that they are no longer afraid that they are blackmailing the MLA or the former police officer. Yesterday, 2 MLAs had complained to the police that a person had cheated them in their name. After which the police became active and arrested the accused who cheated the MLAs.
The police have arrested the person who cheated in the name of AAP MLA and former IPC officer Kunwar Vijay Pratap from Amritsar Vidhan Sabha constituency. He had asked to buy a mobile phone from a shopkeeper in the name of Kunwar Vijay Pratap and gift it to someone. The accused has been identified as Bhalinder Singh of Mohali. The police have brought him on a production warrant and produced him in court and remanded him. Bhalinder Singh is the person who was arrested by the Dasuha police from a hotel in Delhi along with the girl yesterday in the case of cheating a MLA Karamvir Singh Ghuman by posing as a fake PA.
Kunwar Vijay Pratap complained of cheating
Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh had told that a person who became the general secretary of Aam Aadmi Party called a mobile shop and asked to buy an expensive smart phone. When it came time to pay, he said he was at Kunwar Vijay Pratap’s office, could send someone to collect the money, or could pay online. The calling thug asked to gift that mobile phone to someone, the shopkeeper told the whole incident of cheating to Kunwar Vijay Pratap, after which Kunwar Vijay Pratap filed a complaint in the police station.
A fake PA was made of the MLA of Dasuha
The thug Bhalinder, whom the Amritsar police has taken on a production warrant, used to roam around Dasuha with a girl named Natasha. Both of them had declared themselves PA of Dasuha MLA Karamveer Singh Ghuman and cheated people. MLA Karamveer complained about this to the Dasuha police. The police have caught it by technical means. When the police tried to trace his mobile, he kept changing his location. After this, with the help of people, he traced the account through which he used to deposit money online. Then the accused was traced through that account, after which he was arrested along with his female friend in Delhi’s Hotel Leela.
There is already a case of cheating on Bhalinder
Bhalinder is a professional thug, during interrogation he admitted that a case of cheating has been registered against him in Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Amritsar. According to the police officials, Bhalinder is a second year student of BSC, where he has cheated outside Punjab was being ascertained.
